We want this blend to be so real-to-life, that it will whisk you off to a 3-star Michelin Kitchen where the Chai spices are being ground fresh. To accomplish this, we opted to make this blend from 69% Co2 Select Extracts! 

Select CO2 Extracts are produced by using the supercritical carbon dioxide extraction method. Select CO2 Extracts possess an advantage over essential oils because none of the volatile (aromatic) molecules are lost to heat like in the steam distillation of essential oils. These volatile (aromatic) molecules each have their own molecular weight. Some aromatic molecules are too heavy to be present in a steam distilled essential oil. However, these heavier aromatic molecules are present in CO2 Selects. Therefore, CO2 Selects offer the more authentic aroma of nature than steam distilled essential oils do. Another Benefit is there are no residual toxic solvents (ex. Hexane) left behind like those found in Concretes and Absolutes, the most common extraction method of materials that can’t be steam distilled.

Chai Spice Co2 Select Extract Blend (69% / 31% essential oils):

Chai Spice blends originated in India and are popular all over South Asia with many regional blends and even family secret blends passed down over generations. For our take, we start with a spice concentrate using a dominate cardamom blended with ginger, pink peppercorn, nutmeg, a hint of clove buds & real cinnamon bark finished off with a dash of sweet fennel. 

We are not done yet! In order to tame this spice bomb, we softened the blend with a large amount of Toasted Coconut Co2 and Organic Coumarin Crystals; symbolic of the dilution effects of milk and sugar in a Chai Latte, but do not mistake this for a syrupy gourmand drink. This is truly an elegant men's fragrance topped with sweet orange zest and should be a real consideration for adding our optional 1oz Eau de Parfum!

We wanted to really express how true to nature this set is by going with a straight forward Hawaiian Koa wood and a natural undyed a hi-def laser engraved cork with Marsala Chai Hindu Art.
